Peer Mentor – LGBTQ Newcomers

The 519’s Settling In Program assists LGBTQ Newcomers to connect to their new community through on-on-one support, referral, group mentorship, workshops and social events. Volunteer Peer Mentors will work as a team to provide support to LGBTQ newcomers during weekly mentorship groups. Mentors will share knowledge about living in Toronto, life skills, and connecting with LGBTQ and cultural communities through fun and interactive sessions. Each mentorship series will be 9 weeks long (including a one-week mid-session break). View
