Peer Support Group for Students who have experienced the Mental Health System

Mad Students Society – free peer support group (online/in-person) for students with experiences of psychiatric/mental health systems

Mad Students Society, created in 2005, is a peer support and advocacy group of/for students who have experiences with mental health/psychiatric systems. We meet monthly (in downtown Toronto, North York, Hamilton, and a real-time online chat coming soon) and communicate through an email listserv (open to members living anywhere) to support each other, discover tools for self-advocacy, and connect with our history and broader social movements. Please read the attached document for ways to support the group. Our flyer is also attached for distribution. View
